Underground Railroad Program 2006 "Follow the Drinking Gourd, a Ticket on the Underground Railroad" was held on March 27, 2006 at the Lodi Historical Society Building. The event was hosted by the Interlaken, Lodi and Ovid Historical Societies. Included in the evenings events were a performances by the South Seneca Jazz vocalists and members of the A.M.E. Zion church. Seneca County Historian, Walt Gable, presented his recent research on the Underground Railroad and safe houses in Seneca County. The many displays also included a number of quilts whose pattern were in use during the time of the underground railroad.
